Carta de The Office of Tibet (2002) que confirma la posición del Ven. Gedun Yarphel en Chile, a sugerencia de S.S. el Dalai Lama.
En 2002, La Oficina del Tíbet en Nueva York —representación oficial de Su Santidad el Dalái Lama— emitió la siguiente carta confirmando el envío del Venerable Gedun Yarphel a Chile como maestro espiritual, a solicitud de practicantes chilenos del Dharma.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Ven. Gedun Yarphel has been sent to Chile on the suggestion of His Holiness the Dalai Lama when there were many requests from Dharma friends in Chile for a spiritual teacher. He has been living in Chile for the past several years, serving as a spiritual teacher and sharing Buddhist ethical values and philosophy with interested people there.
Any assistance and cooperation extended to Ven. Gedun Yarphel to fulfill his mission will be greatly appreciated.
